OMSI Pong

OMSI After Dark Event

Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

OMSI has a 20 foot wall that looks like wood paneling under an acrylic layer, but has a huge matrix of LEDs that shines through. The Welcome Wall usually displays science information, but for this event, I wrote up a clone of the classic game "Pong" in Processing to accomodate for the unusual resolution of our not-really-screen.

All it needed was the classic control knob controller. I built a quick control panel with some scrap wood, two analog potentiometers, and a wireless ESP32 microcontroller, sending the control signals over WiFi via OSC. Basically, why wouldn't I make this?
